02 Inspiration
Feynman Learning Technique. "Pretend to teach a concept you want to learn about to a student in the sixth grade" is step one from the iconic thinker’s learning technique. His approach to acquiring knowledge is childlike, playful and effective.

Allow yourself the luxury of training your mind.
08 Meditation of the Week
We stand on the shoulders of wise people that were before us. But that does not really make us any wiser.
A sleep-deprived look in the mirror reveals to me each morning what physicist Richard Feynman already explained eloquently: “The first principle is that you must not fool yourself and you are the easiest person to fool.”
If I am the easiest person to fool - and there are many stories of my foolishness - is there a way out? Looking for the timeless among the noise offers us a pathway to escape our foolishness.
To those looking with a curious mind the past offers a never ending fountain of inspiration: Scrapbooks from ancient stoic leaders provide us with valuable lessons about self-leadership. Ancient timeless games like “Go” show us how we can enter intuitive flow states that would make candy crush blush.
Times change, circumstances change, technologies change. Yet, our mental capacities remain en par with the minds of a thousand years ago.
This is why a look in the library of mental training conceived by contemplative traditions offers unexpected rewards. Even after thousand hours of meditation since I was introduced to meditation by my teacher - I still feel like a tourist in the world’s library of mental training.
The mental model I am introducing in this meditation - the chakra system - has been a useful companion in nurturing qualities that enrich our mind and lives. While there are many words to be said about it - I feel the best way to acquire this mental model is through guided practice. This is why I recorded this meditation for you.

Nikolas
